Climate
We have three seasons that we operate in. We have Spring (April - May), Summer (June - July) and Fall (august - November).
Spring
The temperature at the SAM FEJES TSIU RIVER LODGE can range from freezing at night to 60 degrees Fahrenheit during the day. The first part of April, you should expect snow on the lower elevation to deep snow load in the higher elevation. Also, during the month of April, you should expect the normal snow showers, but nothing amounting to any great abundance. As you enter the months of May, the snow showers turn into rain showers. Overall, the spring months are very pleasant.
Fall
August - Cordova can be one of Alaska's warmest fall months with temperatures that range from freezing in the morning to 80 degrees Fahrenheit during the day. Overall, August temperatures will range in the low 40's during the night to 60 degrees Fahrenheit during the day, with somewhat less rain than other months.
September - October - Cordova temperatures will range for the low 30's during the night to the high 50's during the day with increasing rain showers.
